Primary responsibility is the coordination of all deliveries. Responsible to work with salespeople, customers, yard manager and drivers to insure the timely, accurate delivery of materials to jobsites.
Responsibilities
- Maintain control and accuracy over all deliveries of materials leaving the yard for delivery.
- Coordinate and assign loads to pullers
- Communicate directly with salespeople, customers, and end product users to properly schedule deliveries to meet customer's needs.
- Communicate and coordinate truck maintenance issues/needs with Yard Manager.
- Perform receiving documentation for incoming merchandise.
- Make every effort to meet customers' expectations for timely deliveries.
- Work with the Yard Manager to insure that we maximize the deliveries we can make on any given day.
- Manage the dispatch log including assigning delivery times, drivers, loads on specific trucks and track the time taken on deliveries within BisTrack
- Attend training sessions to learn and keep current on products we sell.
- Educate employees and customers on products we sell.
- Effectively handle customer complaints and warranty issues.
- Learn company products, procedures, culture, and customer service philosophy.
- Perform additional directly related appropriate duties as assigned.

- High School diploma required.
